About Me
Up Close & Personal
Chef Suz grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, has lived across the U.S. and has traveled extensively across the globe which has ignited her passion for the Culinary Arts. She is a seasoned culinary professional with over 10 years of experience ranging from fine dining to comfort food. Her professional culinary career started at the Four Seasons and quickly progressed as she gained vast experience working in a fast paced fine dining restaurant. With her experience from the Four Seasons she took on a number of new challenges in diverse kitchens in well known restaurants.

After years of honing her craft, she decided to give back to the community by working as the Executive Chef and Head Instructor for a non profit organization; dedicated to educating individuals experiencing homelessness in the culinary field, to enable them to obtain jobs, independent housing and self sufficiency. Upon returning to the east coast she has branched out to provide personally catered and private culinary experiences.
At the core of Chef Suz's culinary philosophy is making fresh local ingredients shine through her dishes. Working with local food purveyors and community groups is a top priority. Suzanne aims to share her experiences through great food, her passion for learning, teaching and having fun. When Suzanne is not cooking or talking about cooking she enjoys spending time with her partner Maddy, her dog Sugar, the beach and finishing some DIY projects.
